We have received several requests about the complication of using the Force Recruitment Form feature from our customers, and with that on hand, iClan Website’s team decided to hear out our customer’s opinions and have decided to change the entire process of this feature.
The previous process was when a user tries to join a clan website, he/she needs to click on Apply and Accept the terms and conditions of that website. Then afterwards, the Admins can either accept or deny the application of that user. If the Admins have accepted that user to be a part of their clan website, then that user will be prompt to fill out a recruitment form the next time he/she tries to login.
With the new process, we expect that our customers will be using this new feature more often than before. The new process will be easier to use and will come handy for most of the iClan Website’s users out there when recruiting for members.
Step 1. When a user wants to join a clan website, he/she will have to fill out a Recruitment Forum first. This is where the Force Recruitment Feature immediately starts.
Step 2. After filling out the recruitment form, he/she will be in a pending state and cannot access other site features.
Step 3. The admins will be notified about a new recruitment application thus they can review it on the Recruitment panel ( Admin Panel > Menu > Recruitment > Forms ). The user will be displayed there in a pending state and the admins can see his/her application form in there.The user will be displayed there in a pending state and the admins can see his/her application form in there.
Step 4. The Admins can also comment or post something about the recruitment form that the user have filled out with so that the user will be informed if there will be complications.
Step 5. If the Admins have accepted his/her application, then the next time the user tries to login, he/she can see a note that was already accepted and can now use the entirety of that website features.
With the new process being implemented already, we expect that our customers will use this feature more often and will find it very useful when recruiting out members and at the same time filtering who they need in their clan.
With the Force Recruitment Update and the recent German language update, we keep on receiving suggestions from our customers about adding extra users to a current existing Private Message to make it easier to communicate when these members are having a guild/clan meeting.
Our team have decided to implement this feature whereas members who have created a PM can either Add or Remove members on that PM with just a few clicks away.
With this updated feature for Private Messaging, we expect that our customers will find it very useful especially when they want to talk to a certain member with regards to any events or issue then remove that same member afterwards. It will come handy for sure!
